This Privacy Policy explains how Tadovo ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our QR menu and AI features platform (the "Service").

  • Account Information: name, email address, authentication identifiers (via Clerk), and organization profile details you provide.
  • Payment Information: handled by Paddle. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage Data: app interactions, device/browser data, IP address, pages viewed, and feature usage for analytics and security.
  • Content You Provide: menu items, categories, images, branding, and other restaurant content uploaded to the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service and its features.
  • Process subscriptions and manage billing via Paddle.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts via Clerk.
  • Personalize features, such as AI suggestions and translations.
  • Communicate with you about service updates and support.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. AI Features and Data

AI features may process menu content and user prompts to generate suggestions, translations, and Q&A responses. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve AI quality. Do not submit sensitive personal information in prompts.

4. Sharing of Information

  • Service Providers: Clerk (authentication), Paddle (payments), and hosting/storage providers to deliver the Service.
  • Legal and Safety: when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tadovo, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to legal obligations.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
